How a booking flows
The path a booking takes, from a client's first message to a confirmed slot on the calendar.
Every booking on Linebook follows the same five steps. Understanding this path is the fastest way to learn the whole product — every screen maps to one of these stages.
1A client fills in your booking site (yourshop.linebook.ca) — the idea, size, placement, reference photos and their contact details.
2It lands in Requests. The artist replies with a few proposed times.
3The client picks a time and pays a deposit — Interac e-Transfer, cash, or card. e-Transfer and cash hold the slot (24h / 48h) until the money arrives.
4Once the deposit is in, the booking is Confirmed and appears on the Calendar.
5Reminders go out automatically; after the session the balance and tip are taken in person.
NoteA booking is a line getting drawn — requested, deposit paid, booked. You'll see that progress line across the console and in the client's confirmation.
